Phytosanitary Certification of Export Grain Shipments

In response to continual increases of Canadian grain exports to countries around the world, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) in 2017 implemented a new program authorizing private laboratories to assist in phytosanitary testing of export shipments to ensure they comply with requirements of importing countries.

The new program is referred to as the REGAL program (Recognition of Export Grain Analysis by Authorized Laboratories). For more information on the program, exporters are directed to the following CFIA link.

Parkland Labs is an authorized REGAL lab and offers phytosanitary testing services for shipments destined to China, India, Mexico and Vietnam.
